Service Technician (Service-Mechatronics)

We are a German Sales and Service company based near Stuttgart that belongs to an Italian company operating in the metal industry with the production and marketing of die casting machines. Our products are highly appreciated for their reliability on the market.

We are looking for:
An employee as service technician (service-mechatronics) for our customer service

As IDRA service technician you will take over tasks in the area of mechanics, hydraulics, electronics and information technology.
The person we are looking for needs to build complex mechatronic systems and install them. You are also responsible for their maintenance and repair.
You will be in the field of Europe but mainly throughout Germany.
Your responsibilities cover the area "die casting machines" and the associated peripherals.
Your compensation will be based on European standards.

IMPORTANT: Excellent knowledge of German, also English and / or Italian

Your responsibilities:

  • Read circuit diagrams, design drawings and operating instruction
  • Build mechanical, hydraulic, electrical and electronic components
  • Assemble components for mechatronic systems
  • Take into operation ready machines, to program them and install software
  • Control machines
  • Customer service
  • Fault analysis at customer's site
  • Fault analysis by telephone / Teleservice
  • Define measures
  • To maintain mechatronic systems and to repair them
  • Create documentation
Your workday:

You will be working independently in the factories of our customers
Your locations are scheduled by your manager
You organize your trips with the company car that will be given to your disposal
You organize your accommodation and meals
Your operation and the procedure will be discussed with the responsible person of the customers
You analyze and detect problems of machines and equipment
You define, initiate and implement measures
